Link to FM12 equivalent thread here.

Here we go: Download compressed files here - full version (9/3/2011)

The contents of this file must be placed in all of the folders mentioned below which apply to your installation method.

If using the boxed version:
... \ Football Manager 2011 \ data \ db \ 1100
... \ Football Manager 2011 \ data \ updates \ update-1110 \ db \ 1100 (after the 1st Patch)
... \ Football Manager 2011 \ data \ updates \ update-1120 \ db \ 1120 (after the 2nd patch)
... \ Football Manager 2011 \ data \ updates \ update-1130 \ db \ 1130 (after the 3rd Patch)

If using Steam:
... Program Files \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ football manager 2011 \ data \ db \ 1100
... Program Files \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ football manager 2011 \ data \ updates \ update-1110 \ db \ 1100
... Program Files \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ football manager 2011 \ data \ updates \ update-1120 \ db \ 1120
... Program Files \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ football manager 2011 \ data \ updates \ update-1130 \ db \ 1130

If a Mac user:
USERNAME \ Library \ Application Support \ Steam \ SteamApps \ Common \ Football Manager 2011 \ Data \ db \ 1110 \ Inc
USERNAME \ Library \ Application Support \ Steam \ SteamApps \ Common \ Football Manager 2011 \ Data \ Updates \ update-1110 \ db \ 1110 \ Inc
USERNAME \ Library \ Application Support \ Steam \ SteamApps \ Common \ Football Manager 2011 \ Data \ Updates \ update-1120 \ db \ 1120 \ Inc
USERNAME \ Library \ Application Support \ Steam \ SteamApps \ Common \ Football Manager 2011 \ Data \ Updates \ update-1130 \ db \ 1130 \ Inc

for the file to work.

Remove the existing lnc folder in ALL the paths displayed above which apply to your installation method before replacing them with the lnc folder you download from the link.

For Steam users, this is what the folder directory and contents should look like:

A new game is not necessary, but you will have to close FM11 if it is running, and start it back up for the changes to take effect.

At the moment, I have no plans to release an update unless something major pops up but feel free to post in this thread with anything you think might need improving/adding/removing.

Do you still have the xml file from the metallic logos download? Don't fancy dling the whole thing just for it. If you have it, could you please send it over?

I've edited those above but I'm not really sure about the Ivory Coast name change. If I do that, I'd have to change the lot - from Italy to Italia from Germany to Deutschland etc...

Best thing to do should be to have more lines, one for each language. So we can have
"NATION_LONG_NAME_CHANGE" 24 "C

Bumping this to encourage suggestions and remind everybody about it. Updated all competition names from the Asian, South American, African and Oceanic regions so far.

Best thing to do should be to have more lines, one for each language. So we can have
"NATION_LONG_NAME_CHANGE" 24 "Côte_d'Ivoire" "French"
"NATION_LONG_NAME_CHANGE" 24 "Costa d'Avorio" "Italian"
"NATION_LONG_NAME_CHANGE" 24 "Ivory Coast" "English"
"NATION_LONG_NAME_CHANGE" 24 "Costa de Marfil" "Spanish"

So anyone gets the correct name in his language.
[/quote]

It's a bit too much work having to rename each and every single name change for different languages, I'm afraid. If anybody's willing to take it on, I'll naturally include it in the file...

I can help for the Italian part, since I usually do it by myself.

 I went through it painstakingly one by one on Friday and included a heck of a lot of updates. As it stands, the only things which still need to be updated, obviously pending the game release, are the proper names for the European and CONCACAF leagues, as all the rest has been updated.

It says it means League C on that very page (scroll down).

Same way Liga Bet means League B and Liga Alef means League A.

Use the Advanced Filters and filter the members with a Israeli nationality, could be worth PMing the top five or so Israeli posters.

Surely its the North Upper league for the region of Galilee and the North League for the region of Jezreel?

Would make sense.

Could you please give me the English equivalent of the separate regional divisions of Liga Leumit as shown in this Wikipedia entry?

I'd better give an example. Liga Leumit is, from what I can understand, the English-written version of National League in Arabic. Similarly Liga HaAl is SuperLeague; Liga Bet Darom A is Liga Bet Group A.

So, what would be the equivalent of Liga Gimel North Upper Galilee, Liga Gimel North Jezreel, Liga Gimel North Shomron, Liga Gimel South Sharon, Liga Gimel South South, Liga Gimel South Tel Aviv and Liga Gimel South Central.

I hope what I'm asking is understandable to you...

Just a heads-up to inform everybody that an exhaustively updated beta version of this will be released at some stage tomorrow, once I get my hands on the demo.

Here we go: Download compressed files here

The contents of this file must be placed in Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011 demo\data\db\1100\lnc\all OR (if using Steam) Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2011 demo\data\db\1100\lnc\all for the file to work. Remove any and all existing contents. A new game is not necessary, but you will have to close FM11 if it is running, and start it back up.

Iמ Israel, the lower leagues are separated by region. Galilee is in the north, Tel Aviv in the center etc.. so these are Names of places. You should only replace Liga Gimel with League C and everything's fine.

Thanks for this mons,

I know how time consuming it can be, I was going through changing the original FM10 version with Kremmens updates, but work got in the way then I started helping to make the catalogue kits.

I even started writing a PHP script to process the xml file and generate this file on the fly. I may still do this when I get time and then all I have to do is update the database, after all I have loaded a lot of the club and player data into a MySQL DB already.

Cheers,

Boony
